Hey guys,

I'm not very active on this forum, but I wanted to share a part of my project with you guys. For anyone who is interested can find more pictures of the project on the Dutch forums (shoarmateam.nl) or at our German friends JZA80.de.

When Tim started making down- and midpipes for our platform I had to have one. Not sure if they were worth their price, I've found a in new condition 2nd hand downpipe. I was blown away with the quality. Soon after I contacted Tim to start building me a midpipe.

The exhaust was a different story. It was extremely difficult to determine which exhaust I wanted. I've been looking at several options like the HKS TI, HKS carbon ti, Tanabe touring and so on. But after receiving my down-and midpipe from Tim, I loved the quality. I knew Tim was working on a catback for our platform based on the Amuse R1. After a long chat I decided to give it a shot, so he could start designing and building the exhaust. Thankfully he already made a prototype, which is modified along the way. This was a long (1yr) proces, but I'm just very thankfull Tim has the same level of OCD like I have.

What most people don't know about the Amuse R1, is that the inside of the muffler is mild steel. Tim wanted to develop quality full stainless catback, so this had to change. Even the inside of the muffler is full stainless.

Enjoy, lots of pictures incoming!

After seeing the prototype we knew the second flaw of the Amuse R1. It's quite low, which I didn't like. So I've asked Tim if he could build the exhaust as close to the body as possible. Tim definitely didn't disappoint with my request, just watch!

He totally redesigned the bracket system on the exhaust. He started of making the brackets out of wood.

The final fitment was really good!

After we were both happy he started building my exhaust. As you've noticed one of the brackets had a poly bush inside.

Tim wanted to make sure this doesn't give any unwanted vibrations. After a testweek on his personal car it was confirmed it didn't cause any negative effects. But just in case, he redesigned the bushing for more movement.

This week I finally received my exhaust from Tim. It was worth the wait, that's for sure. Packing was perfect and needed for the trip to the Netherlands.

Quality as you would expect :)

Still have to fit it though. I'm doing a full subframe restoration ATM. Hopefully I can share some videos in May this year.

I was waiting for this to come out! Great work and the mounting looks so much better compared to the amuse one.

Is this now available to buy from tb developments? It is not listed on the website yet.

Will you please post some clips of how it sounds too when it's fitted?

Hi Rider, yes it does. No problems with speed bumps at all. It might be the angle of the picture.

It's tucked up really nicely to the body for a 3.5" system. Most HKS exhausts are lower and it's a lot closer to the body that the original Amuse R1!
