Delboy52
I am very happy with the job I had done two years ago at JF Bodyworks in Bicester (Oxford). You do need to book well in advance though. Custom arch and body work, underseal, glass out respray in a new colour. tayr
@Delboy did you do most of the leg work yourself? I.e. removing all interior trims, lights etc? I'd be worried about a bodyshop braking parts and not knowing until i go to take it apart myself further down the line
Delboy52
I did leave everything in place so they knew where it all went when putting back together. You could take what you wanted off before hand and reassemble yourself if you preffered. I had some things done ahead of the job like getting the rear crash bar fully sealed inside and out, headlights rebuilt by Noz, and dropped any bigger parts off like the Trial rear. Delboy52
It really depends on what you are having done. The techniques used, extras, and the cost of materials makes each job individual. Mine was in the £6k range two years ago.
Noz
The paint stage of mine cost £6k as well. Last year. A paint job can be as cheap as you want it. Just a risk of course if the guys dont put the hours into it.
