jackso11
My old block. I have had it in the garage for a couple of years, the people that swapped it out for another block said it was badly scored and can’t be repaired and to be honest I never looked. I had always though at some point I would try and get it repaired, sleeved or something and build I high hp engine. As the years go on inhale decided it’s just in the way so want it gone so has a look and there is no scoring, just a flat spot on the lip of the bore where the bent condos hit it (probably wasn’t bent before it hit!). What do you think people? Scrap? Or can I sell this. Crank is all good and 5 pistons are fine. Second image is obviously what it should look like. Andy Ven
Its worth checking with a bore mic to see if it has crushed the bore in. If it has then it all depends on by how much. Also if it looks to have any fracture marks then thats a sign that its done for
jackso11
I really can’t be bothered to lug it around. I was hoping someone would say ‘easy to fix’. I think probably best to just sell the crank and pistons, block comes free and if whoever buys it can get it fixed then they have a bonus. drift_bear
If you’re wanting to sell it I’ll but it if the price is right, I’m just needing it so I can turn it into a table [emoji2371]
