Supra engine pricing (help)

Its going to depend if its a short engine, full enegine, including turbo's or not, including the hard to find loom or not, with inlet side intact or not. All ancilliaries or not. All sensors or not.

The place you do see a few for sale is in the USA or Canada and the full kit is usually in the region of US$4,000 but some have been trending up to an eye watering $5,000 for a original Supra engine with limited warranty. So that'd be for a full engine setup up to £4k proper money. Quite a bit more than an Aristo setup.

Thanks for the reply rider, and it would be a complete engine with all ancillaries/loom manifolds turbos, basically as if it had been pulled out of a working supra.

I’ve seen Aristo complete engines selling for up to £3k recently. I was guesstimating roughly £5k for a healthy Supra engine in the current market.

"Arguably" they'd have also generally done higher miles and on average had less frequent oil changes?

To be fair though if your engine can't be rebuild and has suffered a semi terminal failure then the Aristo would make a cheaper swap over as you'd have the bits to swap to hand.

Thats the Mk2, the Mk1 is the same as the Supra. A new loom is a grand so you've still saved 1500 quid on a Supra sourced engine

How many early Aristos are around especially the engines I think you would be very lucky to obtain one.

The mk1 aristo shared many parts with the Mkiv Supra.
