Could anyone recommend a supra specialist in south west London/Twickenham area

Well, I just need to replace one blistein shock - I bought a set from a company in Netherlands,and was of the from shocks came with no fitting kit.

 

I have already got the other 3 fitted by a mobile mechanic who came to service my other car... took him a while.

 

He also mentioned that I should replace the anti roll drop links, so I am going to have this done as well, the car is 25 years old UK spec supra after all, I would like to know what other suspension components to refresh to try and bring back the factory handling...

 

Or do you think replacing suspension and anti roll drop links can be done at any local garages... a relatively straight forward job.

Yeah the front one came with no fitting kit, given that it was new from bilstein, not sure how exactly was that possible. The vendor probably took it out?

There are plenty of garages in the SW but, perhaps more importantly, none I would personally trust.

Same.. he's done a few jobs on my Supra, and probably 1 of only 4 places I would trust leaving my car with. 10/10 for his services

I used to live in Twickenham and have used both SRD and Darren (although it was Whifbitz Enfield at the time) - I always ended up driving to SRD in the end. But its personal preference I suppose.

I would recommend getting the geometry done after also

This place was always said to be good for alignment. They will I think fit the shock and then do an alignment.....and if they encounter any seized fixtures will let you know and I think advise on any play etc. They are specialists in geometry and must see/feel suspension play all the time.

I've always taken my cars there for geometry alignment! Tony is an absolute legend in the game.
