Time to say goodbye to the Supra.....

Morning Guys,

So with a heavy heart and after owning this one for 10 years, I am having to get rid of my Supra:(, I have driven maybe 1500 miles since picking it up from SRD 3 years ago and I am wanting to start my own business and need to raise the startup capital, so the Supra, 944 and possibly Corvette as well are being sold. I am wondering what someone would take it off my hands for as it stands. As you know, I have invested a lot of money into this car(I think it's around £50k but don't want to add it up!!). For those that don't know, I bought the car off another forum member 10 years ago as a standard facelift aerotop alongside buying a facelift TT6 hardtop to be used as a donor car for a shell swap and as far as I'm aware, it's still the only Facelift Aerotop in Europe to have both a 2JZ-GTE engine and V160/161 gearbox, that being said, facelift Aero's are pretty rare to start with as they were a JDM car only and made in very small numbers.

As far as issues, the car has two, firstly, the paintwork is tired (although underneath it is immaculate!) It's an RSP car but prior to my ownership it had a blowover respray in a lighter colour and it really should be put back to RSP, second issue is that it never got round to having a cold start map done on it, so once left for over 24 hours, it needs a little persuasion to start, it always starts but can take a little turning over (on the plus side, it's always meant that the engine gets well oiled before firing up after sitting for a little while :D).

Also note that this is a high power single, with adjoining mods, so with the RPS flywheel and clutch and a TRD mount, the gearbox is noisy, with the engine mods, the car is noisy, don't expect it to be quiet and refined :D

Happy to answer any questions and thanks for reading.

Hey guys as I mentioned, although probably not too clearly, it's more a post to see what I would get for it as it stands, I've been out of the scene for a little while and not had chance to monitor what stuff has actually been sold for.

At least the sale is on your terms and for the right reasons mate, GLWS!

As for price, I'd have thought around the 30k mark with it being a well built car with plenty of rare aspects to it. The whole chassis base / VIN number etc. for the purists is what puts it up in the air really.
