6speed NA

Hi guys just wondering if there is any information out there on the 6 speed NA cars, this was a rare upgrade I believe? How rare are these anyone got any numbers?

Any info would be great.

Information is scarce, as are these models of Supra's. Estimated 1400 NA6's were produced in Japan. Only produced in Japan.

In a nutshell. Produced from April 96 to July 2002. Hardtop only. Includes ABS, Airbags as standard. Big Brakes Optional. Otherwise has standard 2JZGE like pre facelift models.

NA6 Supra's are facelift only. They are equipped with V161 gearbox and A03B (3.2 small case) differential.

Perfect base model for a nice NA-T or TT swap.

I believe Style on the forum has one, so maybe he can give some insight into anything I've missed.

Pretty comprehensive, all SZ-R's that are facelift will be 6 speeds (The earlier sz-r's were all 5 speeds) there are five speed facelift's but these will be designated SZ not SZ-R.

Look on goonet, select SZ-R model type filter by age and you'll see them, there's usually 5-10.

Mike and Scooter have pretty much got all the bases covered, only thing is that it's the A02B diff that they came with and not the A03B :)

Very capable variants if you want more power, just need a clutch and away you go with the NA-T or TT swap really. No messing around with diff, gearbox or brake (if you got the TT optional extra) upgrades.
