They are manual seats so have no electronics to fail. After what I paid for them £290. Located in Stevenage Herts. Pickup preferred but can deliver them locally. This 'upgrade' saves the weight of a heavy electric motor, there's less to go wrong and in fabric, these are the most comfortable of Supra seats for a man-sized bottom. Scooter Posted January 13, 2020 Share Posted January 13, 2020 This ' upgrade ' isn't a cost cutting exercise by Toyota then maybe a little but it's more about weight I think as they only went in facelift SZ-R's but they only had 6 speed getrag gearboxes which were the expensive option over the 5 speed and so wouldn't have been spec'd if cost cutting was the be all and end all.
