Car not turning over - Causes?

Just a sanity check before I have to start delving into wiring. Which I f*****g hate!

Car - Supra aerotop

Trans - manual swapped auto

History - Was a running, driving, manual swapped car until it was taken off the road 11 years ago.

Current situation - Engine in, all plugs, looms, ECUs (supposedly) connected

What I've got - So, the engine is in, everything powers up, solenoids click and stuff, but when you turn the key, nothing. No voltage drop on the battery so the starter is not drawing current, so something is stopping the signal. I think its the neutral start switch.

It has a Link plug in, but I've tried the stock ECU, the auto box ECU plugged in and not plugged in but still the same result, nothing on start selection.

Anybody think of anything glaringly obvious before I start looking into neutral start switch etc?

Few things to check:

- If it's a Link G4+ they can have an anti theft switch mode enabled. If the starter circuit is run through the ECU it will stop starter from spinning until Anti Theft mode is disabled. Unlikely it will be this as no one ever bothers running starter trigger through ECU but a possibility.

- Check the 8Pin & 5 pin fusebox plug in engine bay. Check the engine loom side of it is fully inserted, no dodgy wiring etc.

- In passenger footwell check the grey engine loom interior plug is plugged into correct connector. Check this thread, there is a photo at the end of what I mean. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?354556-Starting-issue

- You can remove the lid from the starter relay and bridge the relay so it activates the starter motor. If you still have nothing then you either have a dodgy starter, bad wiring from fusebox to starter or missing fused voltage to starter relay. If the starter does spin when you bridge the relay, then issue is more than likely the NSW circuit not done correctly or is not plugged in etc.

Check your wirring loom on the transmission, if it was an auto before, you have to find the plug, it is not used on the manual transmission, so it is hanging around the left side of the transmission, then you have to find the pins to the park position sensor in the plug as it was an auto it has to be in park to start.. you have to bridge those 2 to make it start now.

That is great info, thanks, I'll look into those.

Re the Link I had removed it and fitted the stock ECU so whilst I cant categorically say its not in anti theft mode, the result was the same either way.

Does the car have an immobiliser fitted? If so, could that be playing up?

No immobiliser ir alarms.

As I said mate it was working fine before and has been swapped for many years, if nothing else works I'm going to check it out

I had a am2 fuse blow with a earth fault which left me with a none crank situation .

I'm 101% sure all the fuses are OK but I'll certainly check it out
