puggy
Car only blows warm air when the heater is on the hottest setting. It is warm enough to warm the car if that makes sense just not hot as you would expect. Blows cold when on cold setting. Thermostat maybe? Any ideas? trevorc
I had a crack in an ac pipe so it couldn't cool the air but it could heat still
shaky
Heater matrix might need a flush , or your Thermostat might need changing

j_jza80
Could be all sorts, but start with the simplest/ cheapest. Could be various things listed above, but could also be an issue with the HVAC controls or the heater box diverter flaps.
mellonman
First thing I would do is check your coolant level.
puggy
Coolant level is fine. I have a new thermostat kicking about so could try that I suppose.
evinX
My body does the same. Jokes aside could the heater control be packing in causing it? Dont really think a open thermostat would cause that as it depends on the controls allowing the heater unit to allow warm air to come into the cabin a faulty thermostat would show issues on the temp guage if its stuck i think. Scooter
Find and feel (carefully)the in/out pipes of the heater matrix, they should be similar temperatures.
Mo Reviews
a faulty thermostat would show issues on the temp guage if its stuck i think. This. Dodgy matrix or HVAC controls would be my guesses. Edited December 15, 2019 by Mo Reviews (see edit history)
