7677243 Posted November 15, 2019 Share Posted November 15, 2019 The knob that you pull to fold down the rear seats came off, looks like it was a problem because the knob was attached to the mechanism with string. I'm trying to release the catch so I can remove the seat and fix it but after 30 minutes of blind fishing and hooking I couldn't find the catch. I looked at diagrams but am none the wiser. Do I need to hook or grip something and any idea how far down in the seat the mechanism is? Cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Frank Bullitt Posted November 15, 2019 Share Posted November 15, 2019 Loosen the back of the seat from inside the boot space. I think it's held in place with five nut type screws along the bottom. You need some kind of bar with a m6 female thread inside to screw onto the threaded bar in the seat.
