Fulcrum2000
Hi All Just thinking about fitting strut braces and have been told by several people the rear ones do nothing on a Mk IV - is this the case? I'll go for a flat TRD style on the front but I see there's precious few even available for the back which seems to indicate they do about as much as a vote for Brexit did. Ark
They're good if you do track days or have an aerotop - in the latter case the front and rear are almost mandatory in my opinion. Otherwise I probably wouldn't bother. I'd recommend the Carbing braces if they're still available - the front incorporates a brake cylinder brace and both front and rear are solid one-piece braces, so no unwanted flex points. Dnk
I doubt they make much if any difference tbh I had the TRD front which looked good
Fulcrum2000
Yeah I guess it will look good if nothing else. It's all about the bling.
