What's your daily driver?

Anyone had a Forester STi as a daily? Thinking about a 2006/7/8.

I know of 2 people who have had them and they both said they are great. One pulled his caravan every year and said it was perfect. Personal experiences of the boxer engine however haven't been as good.

Really considering one these as replacing my gs 250 taxi daily driver, with a mix of driving what mpg are you seeing.
It's been faultless mate, and absolute gem of a car. Just had full.servixe today at £440 which will be good for another 20k miles. No faults or advisories at all 4 years later.

On a motorway run I see 48mpg easy. Mixed urban and commute to work normally around 37-40mpg.

It's running 393fwhp, has Xdrive and smokes 60mph in under 5 seconds. What's not to love.....!

Greg was nice enough (or stupid enough lol) to let me drive his car to see what it was like when I was considering a new daily. The car is awesome, loads of torque and just keeps on pulling! That made my mind up to get the 640D.

Had one mapped to ridiculous power (for a diesel). Lovely understated cars the 640d.
