Soop Dogg
Sorry Alex. I read your post as if there was a connection between the full carbon body and it not being road legal.
tbourner
But if they made it road legal.......... Still if it would cost 100k, that's about the same as a mosler isn't it? Still less than all the Ferraris and Lambos, and not any slower!!

Still less than all the Ferraris and Lambos, and not any slower!! I'm sure there would be a market....but you'd have to have lots of cash that engine will be stressed to the max...rebuilt every year no doubt...the gearbox is a £10k race box. If it's a straight cut box it'll be noisey as hell... I'd love one too but I wouldn't even think about getting it on the road it's too hard core. Kip
Nice thought tho. Little Lotus up against the likes of Ferrari and Lambo - and winning. If you have 100k to blow on a car do you really think you would be worried about a 10k gearbox replacement. Perhaps a more refined version for road users? Digsy
Nice to see so many guys appreciating the hard work that went into the Sport Exige If it was made, I reckon it would have to be extremely dear for us to make any money out of it. But hey, if anyone out there wins the lottery and decides that they really really want one, I'm sure I could put you in touch with the right people
