mplavery
Hey peeps So I’ve done a few jobs on the Supra over past few months Done Spark plugs and coil connectors.. tested and ran fan after Then done a oil and filter change Ran fine after Got it up on axle stands/ wheels off to clean inside out and out and to ACF-50 underneath.. Wheels back on and to the ground, started her up and let it warm up About 5 min in it started running really lumpy Notice a hissing noise, spotted a vacuum pipe split by the inlet manifold . Must of disturbed it when removing the filter Worked for a few minutes but lumpy again Replaced few more vacuum pipes but can’t seem to sort it.. might get it spot on for a minute or so then goes lumpy again No doubt it’s a vacuum hose but struggling to see which one it is Anyone else had this issue I will have another look , might be the one under the manifold possibly. mplavery
Just to update you guys it’s all sorted Lee (SRD) said to try and disconnect the battery which I did over night. Was 95% better Then I cleaned the idle control valve following Geo how to guide here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?210956-How-To-Clean-Idle-Control-Valve-Cleaning-Aka-ICV-(IAC)&highlight=Idle+control+valve Went for a spin, put new fuel on the tank as I only done about 100 miles this year and boom Sorted
