1997 Twin Turbo 6 speed, 55xxx miles

I’ve owned this car for over 6 years now and it’s not getting the use it deserves, as can be seen in the mot history it’s barely done 1000 miles a year for the last couple of years. Originally imported in 2010.

The car drives perfectly, no knocks or bangs and is very clean underneath.

The bad bits:

The diff bushes need replacing. I’ve got replacements here but haven’t had a chance to do them.

I think this is a little underpriced, or as most would say, it’s priced very well. I now have to lower the price of mine soon when I sell  GLWS!

Thanks mate, I thought it was priced well, although I haven’t had much interest. I need to advertise it a bit more when I get a chance.

No rush to sell either, I’ll be taking it off the road for winter and reverting to a stock rear end if it doesn’t sell by then.

I'd suggest you consider doing a refresh of the advert. Its a long list with not a lot of wow factor. An example is I don't look at things like a Rav4 wheel and think - cool. If I was on the lookout for a supra I'd be wondering things like why has a 50k mile car had a engine rebuild and has shot bushes. The ad raises a load of questions with no answers. If you have 7 years with the car it doesn't come across in the advert. Why not list dates of services and what has been done. Why the engine was rebuilt and how that is a big plus. Anyone who has owned a car for 7 years can write a banging advert, if they try.

Thanks for the input. Personally I thought people would be more interested in the complete spec of the car other than why I’ve owned it.

Anyone on the forum could easily search my threads and find a complete build thread, which includes date and reasons as to why it had an engine rebuild. As for bushes, they aren’t completely gone, just started to crack a little. It’s a 23 year old car, surely you’d expect some worn/aged bushes?

I’ve had plenty of interest and currently have someone coming to look at it tomorrow.
