Well my second turbo has started screaming with excitement every time it comes on. After having it checked at SRD it's a goner.

So i bought a spare set to send off for a rebuild, turns out the spare set are already hybrids, but unfortunately they need a rebuild as they're old and tired.

On a plus note it seems they have had a bigger compressor wheel fitted, so i'll be following the same spec with new internals :)

Who did the work on the turbos ?

Are you going to run more boost the standard ?

I just left them with SRD. They sent them off to get rebuilt but i'm not sure who they use i'm afraid.

I'm not going to run more boost at the moment. I'm looking into injectors and ECU upgrades for this year so will do it all then and get it mapped correctly.

So thought about doing the whole aftermarket ECU thing but couldn't convince myself to spend the money as I don't want to go single just carry on with the twins.

I am more than happy running BPU, and as the car is used as a daily the power seems about right. But then I managed to find one of these...

I will bolt it in when I get home and see what happens :D

Fitted a carbon Top Secret bonnet to the car that i bought from whifbitz. It's great quality however i couldn't get the stock catch on the right to engage no matter what i did (Peter P on the forum is having the same issue with his). I have fitted after market aero catches anyway so it's all heald down tight. I mentioned the issue to whifbitz via message, which they read but did not reply. I'll update if i get a response. Also have a slightly bigger gap on the lower right hand side (few mm), bonnet sits perfect at the top and on the left. I'm going to try and slightly adjust the wing to close the gap.

Tomorrow i've got some sheets of heat resistant correx tray arriving. I am going to use this to make a rain guard which will divert any water coming through the vents to the side gullies of the car. I am going to make it so it's easily removable for when the weathers good :)

Another thing i did't think of when fitting the bonnet, holes in the bonnet means more noise gets out! My turbos sound epic!! :D

Looks great, I've always wanted one! Is that an extra vent on the top left hand side of the picture?

Any pics from a full on front? Wanted to see how wide the car looks with the stock bumper and this bonnet.

Thanks!

Yes it's an extra vent :)

Also nearly finished the rain guards, little more tweeking.

Used fire retardant correx sheet. It's in 2 panels, each has 6 screws. Easily removable when the weathers good and can pop in the boot :D
