whos working night shift?

coamoxyfrusacillin.... its a medical joke.

 

a fix all for geriatrics 'gerifix' as you may know medics have a sick sense of humour - if you have a LOL (little old lady) who comes in 'off legs' and you dont know whats wrong, we joke that you just give them loads of medicines in the hope that one of them is the right one - they usally end up getting antibiotic (amoxicillin or penicillin for example) they are also on a diuretic (frusemide for example) and 'co-' just means a combination of two active ingredients... dont worry though we usually work out whats going on pretty quickly.

 

Right now though things are all settled for the night and there shouldnt be any people under the influence coming in needing my attention otherwise it can get a bit :drown:

I'm not at the moment but when my new job starts next year and the training stops i shall be working over 24 hous on a rota... :eek: I can't wait to start my new job but they say your stomach lets you down when you do nights......no dodgy kebebs then......lol :violin:
