Ferlex
Hey guys, so I recently got my kmh to mph converter fixed and now my speedo is ready much higher mph than normal. It's about 15 mph off, I noticed that travelling at 85 mph gps speed shows on the speedo as 100. The odometer also goes up according to the 100mph on the speedo so I did a trip which was about 45 miles and I recorded that on the speedo it showed it put about 80 miles on there. Does anyone know how I could fix this? If it helps I have some faces on the speedo.

rider
There is a section on the Torque GT site where they talk about and retail the speed converters and say that you need to ensure you have the vehicle specific converter. Maybe you have a converter for another vehicle fitted?
Pete
Indeed you need one that is setup for your rolling radius. The speed sensor (in the gearbox I think in our case) sends pulses which are turned into speed depending on the frequency. Obviously may vary depending on the vehicle/speed sensor. I use a SpeedM8 which was setup by the maker for a MkIV on standard wheels and reads pretty much bob on with the GPS. It over reads when using the Lexus 18's. I believe some limiters had some adjustment where you could go out with a GPS and fine tune?
