Parksy Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 Okay having a winge already Since owning my Supra on Sunday I have had on three seperate occasions drivers behind me acting like complete muppets!! Driving home after picking the car up, was on the M6, or A66 can't remember which one. Was nicely overtaking in the outside lane when some guy in a Mitsubishi flew up behind me blaring the horn and flashing. I speed up having to overtake everything on the inside and the guy stop next to me and starts pointing forward out of his window in a gesture to get my foot down??!! Same thing happens on a drive down the coast on Monday? Although guy didn't stop this time he just flew past... Is it a common conception of other people that if you have a car that goes quick that you want to race with them? Sadly I found the driver on the drive up Sunday really dangerous, as if I hadn't sped up he was drifting back and forward really close to my back bumper. Have since been worrying that I might of gone through a camera (not knowing the roads down there) when I put my foot down to pass traffic on the inside. Just wondered if anyone else who just enjoys the car for its looks, and appreciates there speed but don't neccesarily feel the need to prove it get irritated by drivers like this? I dunno.....I get the treatment even in my mk1..... i just let them sit on my bumper....as long as I'm doing the limit they can't moan......although when it's safe to pass back into the left lane I do so....i don't wind people up........it's just impatient tw*ts that annoy me....they start overtaking you before your cars in the left lane......crazy... Scrote Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 Tail gating pisses me off beyond belief. If it happens I slow right down. If they overtake, I brake & rub it in, I'm 'letting' them overtake. If they persist, I ride the throttle & brake simultaneously, keeping a constant speed.
