Digsy
It's not a bulb, it's a row of LEDs. If they have all stopped working it's probably just a knackered connection. Never had mine out so I don't know how hard it is to get to. Sorry I can't help, but you can have some free punctuation on the house. .............,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,;;;;;;;;;;;;;;::::::::::::::::::::: Should keep you going for a post or two. Scooby
What you have to do is remove the trim pannel fron the inside of the boot lid(no screws just pull CARFLLY) then you will see 2 10mm bolts which you need to undo most of the way and take note they are long, this will release the clamp and enable you to remove the light. But it is a bit fiddly. Brad

You need a deep 10mm socket to reach them. There's not a lot of point taking the brake light out though, unless you are going to replace it or the LEDS. Some early UK spec Supras never had a working LED brake light, just a dummy one.

You didn't get Digsy's hint about punctuation then? The police won't mind, as long as your other brake lights are working properly. Yes, you can still get replacement lights from Toyota. Digsy
To be fair I forgot the question marks, but he's brought is own. Sorry Si. I'm in a bad mood today. Hope you get it sorted.
VIL
I have changed mine in the past as part of the LED strip stopped working (ie some of the LED worked, others didnt). NB, Worth getting someone to sit there with their foot on the brake while you check round the back as sometimes it will come on then go out again? Dont know why? Unfortunately the LED light is a sealed (glued) unit so I just got another one from Supra breaker - cost about £25 from memory.

TrickTT
To seperate the unit, get a small circular saw attachment on a dremel and CAREFULLY cut through the glue, then prise apart. There are 3 small screws that hold the LED circuit board to the backing. Check for dry solder and broken pcb tracks (especially round the screw holes). Reassemble with hot glue. If its the whole thing that is not working i'd check the connections to the unit first, before taking it apart.
