ARPUS
What do I need to do, in technical terms, to view the collection of photos consecutively, rather than having to click on them individually? Thank you, Steve

ARPUS
Thanks for your help Frank ( Bullitt ) Thanks for your comments Mark ( blythmark ) As you know, it's not really about the restoration costs. It's about knowing I can enjoy driving this iconic car, for many more years. I hope everyone can now see all of the photos properly. ARPUS
Need some stainless steel exhaust I considered getting a straight through HKS type exhaust, but there's nothing wrong with the original exhaust. I might go down that route in the future.
ARPUS
great job mate she's a beauty like the number plate too Thanks to you Shawn and everyone else, for your kind words. When I decided to buy a Red UK spec Supra, I looked on the internet and bought the number plate...... H15 SUP. I kept it on a retention certificate and it took me over one year to find my current car. As some members already know, I owned the car for a few years and then sold it about 4 years ago. I regretted it straight away !!!!!! I started a new search for a Red UK spec auto or manual and after 18 months, incredibly in October 2016, I bought my original car back again. It's not going to be sold ( AGAIN ) any time soon.

Tyson
What are the odds they'd both be red too!
Peter P
Odds for this thread are unbelievable! Selling the car and getting it back again (not many can make that claim), then finding the previous owner of the private plate and both cars being red. Spooky! Steve ( ARPUS ) Aaah no worries I bought The car with the number plate on,for £4000 in 2001,From A little car lot in Thundersley in Essex by the White Hart pub,its no longer there, he gave me 2500 for my white one, The owner before me lived in Brentwood I think and he put a number on, I think his name was Jim Clark like the racing driver ,he definitely named after a racing driver,he had the car brand-new,From the Toyota dealership in Bishop Stortford I believe, and put the number on £1200 in 91/2,,,I had an engine rebuild on that car, A company in Witham tried to fit in HKS aftermarket ECU but blow the engine up,i lost heart, scapped it,went on abd Bought a succession of 2 more,Eventually after 18 months I sold the numberplate,£650 To an Internet company previous owner had paid £1200 in the early 90s,,,I intended to buy Mark for to put that number on,but I could never afford it. Hello Peter P, Another coincidence was that when I realised I shouldn't have sold the car, I contacted the dealer who I sold it to and asked if he could tell me who he sold it to, so I could possibly buy it back. He said he wasn't allowed to do that, by law, but the chap who bought it, didn't like private plates and so H15 SUP was put on a retention certificate and the car was given a standard registration number. So for the SECOND time, I bought the plate from the dealer and waited for about one year before I bought my car back again!!! Peter P
That’s cool Steve. As I said, this car and plate being reunited is a first for me. Occasionally owners are fortunate enough to get their cars back, but not often. Sadly a lot of good examples went abroad and a few probably ended up being broken for parts. Nice to read about one that’s gone full circle and is hopefully now settled to stay in your care.
