wheel recommendations and advice.

SupraStar 3000

Recommended Posts

I already have 17" Kosei Sniper's with 255/40ZR17 - 235/40ZR17 GoodYear Eagle F1's

Questions:

I assume that I can NOT use my old tyres if I 'up' the wheel size to 18" rims.

I'm looking at split-rims. Ideally deep dish. Black with a chrome lip

Any available at 17" or should I just buy 18" and new F1s

Although using standard j-spec brakes and calipers, I would like the flexibility to upgrade these later. Whats necessary to avoid potential problems with cleanance.

Any recommendations?

Racing Hart C4-R

Volk SF Challenge 18''

Volk GT-C 18''

Volk GT-7 18''

Volk 2005 LE37T 18"

and finally, what price range am I expecting to pay?

thanks.

Can't we tell your loan has finished! :D

I can't remember if it's your daily driver or not. This would IMHO make a big difference to choose between very bling and more functional.

Obviously the step up to 18 will cost considerably more in tyres and the wheels themselves.

My only advice is choose the one that fits best for better handling, closest to et50, correct centre diameter (avoid plastic fitting rings if possible).

Cheers Pete.

Just doing a little home work and exploring the possibilities of new wheels.

Not planning on buying any at the moment though mate. Just wishful thinking.

Anyone know of any black/chrome edged wheel designs that are available at 17".

Its not a daily driver but I don't want to loose any handling and comfort.
