Shane
OK, so my son's V8 has started chucking grease out from the driver side outer CV joint. Rather than strip it down and rebuild it, he picked up a pair of "Small case TT" shafts. We are certain his diff is a open small case diff from a NA auto. But the flanges don't match up, the diameter of the flanges that bolt up to the diff on the replacement shafts are smaller at around 87mm compared to the originals at 97mm. Whats going on here, any suggestions welcome please? EDIT: Just been suggested that there is a difference between face lift and pre face lift flanges on the small case diffs, anyone know for sure?
