Fulcrum2000
Hi All Sorry to complain but why does the search box rarely work on here for me, making me post lots of things I could search for myself on this wonderful resource? For instance AFR brings up nothing yet I've posted several threads about this and I know others can find it?
Scooter
AFR is tricky as the search doesn't like short 'words' In this case I searched google, with Supra AFR at idle and then it often picks up a thread on here. But in advance search you can select "search single content type" and in key words "idle ratio" try titles only (that's blank for this combo) then retry with (search entire posts) and you'll get some hits, some relevant some not but it helps. Frank Bullitt
Its because the search function is limited (to an extent) when using small words or letter like AFR. If you want to search AFR add a * to the end of the letters so it reads AFR* then click search. Failing that go to Google, type AFR then mkivsupra.net and it will bring everything up that way. Scooter
Go have a play obviously the more unique the word that's related to your enquiry the better. You can leave keywords blank and add your username to find threads you posted in. So also if you remember a user saying something you can search for their posts etc. Also in the keywords if you put in "engine mounts" it will restrict the hits to the exact phrase and not give hits for all threads with engine in ie nearly all of them!!
