Swampy442
If you were refreshing the bottom end of a single turbo engine, would you fit Toyota bearings or after market? Car has stock internals and not looking for huge power. And if you want aftermarket what would you chose? King ACL Clevite etc So many options, so much choice. AC93
I'm currently stripping a spare block I have to rebuild with a single turbo (600-650bhp-ish). I'm going for King Racing bearings
Mike2JZ
I've used kings, but much prefer Clevite/Mahle. Quality is much better imo
Style
From what I've read, Clevite and ACL seem to be the better ones to go for but have no experience myself
AC93
Yeah I was looking at ACL aswell, cost differences are probably minute..
Suprakeith
I would 100% recommend ACL it’s what I have in mine, I went with King 1st but the quality was terrible out box so sent them back and went with ACL. Have heard quite a few stories of kings failing aswell.
Chris Wilson
Clevite, ACL and stock have all given no issues for me. King ones LOOK iffy, never measured one properly, but the look of them puts me off.
Swampy442
Thanks for the input, I believe Ill go with Clevite
bignum
My king bearings have been fine so far, 3 years of abuse.
