Swampy442
Building a project Supra with some tasty bits, whilst checking everything over I noticed a lot of play in the gear lever, assumed the nylon cup at the base of the lever. Replaced that with a new lever assembly but the slop still there. The gears all engage lovely its just the movement whilst its in gear. There seems to be a good amount of vertical play in the input arm, does anyone know if the pin wears or the actual arm itself?

Chris Wilson
So there was no wear in the hole in selector shaft coming out of the back of the gearbox itself? If so that was lucky as that's one of the last things to be removable upon stripping the box!
