I know its something to do with the heated screen but I am trying to find another one that isn't rusty and can't find a part number or its actual name. Not sure how it is still working - - - Updated - - - worst case I can clean up what is in contact with the boot lid, but I would rather just put a better one in. I do know what it does, it contols the heated window (as I said in the first post ) but i don't know what it is called to search for the part, and neither so Toyota. I know it works because my heated screen works. Heated window module doesn't seem to help Toyota or parts diagrams. blythmrk Posted December 22, 2018 Share Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) I think it’s some type of heating element or transformer as they have two coils inside and vents on the underside indicating they get hot/warm. I looked at that image as well and didn't identify it (doh!). I thought at first it it was the smaller image labelled amplifier and then found photos of it and it looks nothing like the what I have.
