Geezabloke
Im thinking of getting a BOV on my UK TT, are there any pitfalls? I have an airflow meter fitted behing the air filter (does this make any difference?) Any help appreciated:flame Dev

Geezabloke
Cheers Bob my main geeza, but what about the Blitz?
GavinL
My understanding is that strictly speaking you shouldn't use a vent to atmosphere BOV on the UK spec car due to the air metering aspect of the MAF however I and lots of other people run them without any problems. Some people, I think more with the autos, can suffer from the occasional stalling problems. The make of BOV is of no consequence AFAIK but with all things some are better than others. Bobbeh
I've had no problems.. and theres no warning lights or anything come on since I've fitted mine other than a nice chirp when the gear is changed. The HKS is cheaper than the Blitz one (afaik) and makes a decent sound, just get it and enjoy BTW I dont think the effect will be the same with an Auto. cashpoint
Do they still work as well (noise) on an auto as i thought the auto didn't have much of a gap between gear changes, so less nosie
B3any
I've got one on my Auto, they only work when you let your foot off the gas quickly, if you keep your foot to the floor and let the gears take you then you dont really hear anything, you have to let off the throttle quickly. Gavin, Can this be fixed if you keep the stock BOV and have the new one fitted to say the Hard Pipe just after the Throttle body ?

dude
Alex Being a bit picky arent we I think they work better the nearer they are to the throttle body , but it will be mounted before the throttle body John:flame Dev
