Glass headlight inside reflector

Ok guys, in the middle of returning the car to it's glory. Car has started so I'm now in the middle of doing mechanical in the day and aesthetics at night. Took the headlights to bits tonight to restore them. I'm happy with the painting the plastic piece and all other aspects but the reflector disc inside has also corroded slightly. I've been searching about for hours now and can't find any source of replacing it or refinish it.

Have I got to live with it or are there options?

He I've see all that stuff. That what I'm doing. It's not that part that's the problem. It's the reflector that sits behind the main beam bulb that's part of light fitting itself. Think I'm going to respray it with some chrome see if I can rescue it slightly not sure how affective it will be though

Painting it black usually makes it quite different in performance. I heard some people say that would make it illegal in the UK for MOT but never actually seen that defined.

I advise painting it a very light metallic grey with 3 coats of decent laquer, re-chroming would be a nightmare.
