tbourner
I like the red, very BRM. I know a bloke that races Astons, don't think it's that one though!
AJI
They did a couple of FIA GT rounds this year... I saw them take a 1st and 2nd win at Silverstone a few months back. Great looking cars.
SupraStar 3000
ace looking cars. Had a good nose around a couple at GoodWood. Think Aston are making a few road going versions.

Soop Dogg
seriously? i really dont like the vette front end, i reckon the DBR9 looks much better... I agree the DBR9 looks better. Got a nice close-up look at them when they LOST at Le Mans this year. I like how the rear of the 'vette looks. You should ask the Aston drivers what they thought as they got to look at that part of the 'vette quite alot. lol!!
paul_y3k
Whatever mate. Its the don. Hard as ya like and a bit pokey to go with it. British to the bone. Rock on.................... other than the fact they are owned by FORD .... !!!!

Bobbeh
The road car looks great, the Le mans version looks like a fish. Now this looks yum Plus the vette road car will also trounce the DB9.
TLicense
Plus the vette road car will also trounce the DB9. However when you get to where you're getting to, maybe a couple of seconds after the Corvette arrives, you'll be pulling up in a car that has an Aston Martin badge. Small sacrifice IMHO. Plus if you were putting your keys into a bowl in the middle of the table. Which key fob is the fit blonde going to be pulling out first? The one with Corvette (sounds like an 80's yankmobile) or the Aston Martin (Didn't James Bond use to drive one of these). See what I'm saying? Ian C
Looking at the picture of the engine bay makes me feel ill, in that the engine is set so far back any real work would mean dropping it out. Ugh. Those pictures are great, and that "No Parking" sign is comedy -Ian

Then when she sits in it and says - ' ooo I have those window controls in my Ford Fiestaaaaaarr' it will lose its magic But yeah, the AM carries the snob factor for sure, something the American sports cars dont have, as they're aimed at the masses. Ian C
Given the choice, though, Aston all the way. Let's face it, we've got cars that are faster than both haha I wouldn't be buying either for the speed, more the ethos. Cough pushrods cough... -Ian
Scoboblio
I honestly believe that no-one will hate you for owning a DB9, I want that interior!
attilauk
tbh in the price range i can think of quite a few cars i would rather have over a DB9 or the new Vette
tbourner
How much is a DB9 then? My boss owns one (actually it's my boss's boss's boss's boss!!) and it looks lovely. I'd rather have a V8 Vantage Le Mans - they're probably more expensive though. For the money I'm sure I could get a purple Diablo VT, I'd rather have one of them. Or maybe a Viper could persuade me! attilauk
a DB9 comes in at £103k for the entry level car! the new vette is around the £50k mark i would rather have a Mosler MT900S @ £99.5k
