stevie_b
I changed the front brake discs a few days ago, and the MOT is nearly due. As expected, the brake performance is a bit weedy at the moment until the discs settle down with the pads. Is this likely to cause an MOT failure? I've heard that discs can take up to 500 miles to bed in - that's not really an option for me.
shaky
I did about 70 miles on new brakes then went for the MOT, no problems , he spent more time moaning about my car having to much underseal , only done it twice in 9 years

el_bandido
I've had an MOT done less than an hour after putting new pads and discs on and there were no issues whatsoever.
