rider
I was tidying up the logo badge and third brake light today of residual polish on the edges and its transformed them to HD rather than blurred edges. Does anyone have the 'Supra' badge shown in the photo lying around and in need of a new home. PM details if you do. jim_supra
I will in a few weeks if you can wait, cars in for a respray and have bought new from Japan. Won't have chance to get to the bodyshop to get the old ones for a couple weeks.
ripped_fear
Think you will struggle to get that exact one as that isn't oem it's an aftermarket copy. Oem are still available from Toyota
rider
I've owned the car since 1998 and its been stuck there all that time so it is very unlikely to be an aftermarket badge. It's too well made for an aftermarket effort.

It's too well made for an aftermarket effort. It's 100% non genuine mate just look at it in comparison to oem. Remember looking at it at the nec in the flesh too. The edges are all wrong. It's also more of a clear resin look where as oem is plastic with only a clear bit in the centre of the letters on the extra turbo badge

rider
Drift Bear had the same badge presumably from his same age, 1996, RZ. It was a Y2,500 option.

Fair enough mate i recon you will struggle to find one in that case, if your car came with that from the factory run your vin on toyodiy and get a part number would be the easiest option

evinX
I had one on a bootlid few years ago and binned it I had that oem one. Didnt know was rare option and bodyshop binned it after respraying bootlid . Grrr Lets be honest. Most of the optional bits are shite anyway. If they were available new today. Nobody would buy them. Its the fact that their discontinued and options that make people go for them bits

rider
Lets be honest. Most of the optional bits are $#@!e anyway. If they were available new today. Nobody would buy them. Its the fact that their discontinued and options that make people go for them bits With this badge I wish I could recall what it looked like when I first bought the car as the gold has faded like the gold logo badges also do over time. It cannot have been too garish otherwise I'd recall that. I happen to think this badge is a neat upgrade for those who have Supras sporting gold badges. The gold outline of the badge against the more pronounced Supra is a design masterpiece and well worthy of wall hanging. It wouldn't be to everyone's taste as gold badges wouldn't be but on a white car I think it looks perfectly at home.
