Bender
Can somebody tell me how i can adjust revs on myself. For all those years of ownership of my supra i try to make my revs right as they always been 1000rpm- 1100rpm than i put oem air induction put air sensor on and it was better around 900rpm than i was change water pump so have to take few bits out and when we put everything back together they back to old 1000 1100rpm i decide to go for new set of plugs leads distributor and rotor my mechanic put them down to 950rpm and he said he can go any lower and advise me to change that part (photo) sorry forgot what its called it comes today i changed and hey revs back to 1100rpm. So before i go visit him again (as i think he ran out of ideas) i will try to adjust them. Can anybody advise me how to do it or what else i can do to put them back to normal 850-900 rpm. Thank you Wysłane z mojego SM-G950F przy użyciu Tapatalka
evinX
Thats a positive crank pressure relief valve. If it goes bad youll get oil leaks. Reset throttle body to factory setting with a feeler guage.
Swampy442
Basic stuff first, test for air leaks round the intake manifold, Y pipe, gaskets etc. Second is the throttle properly closing, is there a bit of slack in the throttle cable. Third is the timing set correctly, timing slightly out can affect your idle
