Advice on sz-r supra 6speed

With the condition of paint work it needs a full rub down as scabs on arches. Front and back. £1500, body kit to oem is near £500 smaller breaks to replace. £3/500 coil overs £600. At the end of that, you wouldn't see change of 15k for na. And that's a fact.

Mate if you are worrying about costs already and you are not even an owner yet, I would walk away as the Supra is not going to be the car for you. Costs are only going to increase, as long as the car is not hanging I would say £10k is a good enough price for it in todays market. (obviously not seen the car)

I was in this same boat but the car I bought was far off. Guess this is good advice as many local owners of the car complain that it only eats the wallet as you never stop doing on the car.

If I were in your shoes, I would factor in the aspect that v160's are still pricey in the market and body work is not something you may need to attend to now. The coil overs as well are not needed now. You can sort all that out a year later or so. I would get the car, service it and enjoy it till funds are available then repair the body work and then start modifying it with the coil overs and so forth.

Best advice yet. I think I'll take the plunge. Thanks
