Getrag
Well, after my fronts finally bit the dust I went for the F1 fronts to compliment the F1's at the back. And I must say, very impressed! A couple of tests on some very twisty onramps proved that the grip is massively better than the hard jap rubber that came with. Now I have to get the geometry sorted to stop the uneven wear. Jake
and the handling will probably improve again when you've had the geometry done
CJ
When i had the 17's on my car I had the F1's on and loved them. Much better than the Pirrelli (sp) IMHO
SupraStar 3000
F1s are great. Only needed to fart and the car was facing the wrong way with remoulds.

Ah I see...I agree Ed, remoulds and a powerful performance car do not go together.

Pig
wats getting the geometrics sorted. just changed my fronts way too early cause of lots of wearing to the out side. could that be due to thrashing? i have had the tracking done on the front. Suprasteve
Only needed to fart and the car was facing the wrong way with remoulds. just wet myself reading that ! I had a crappy set of tyres on mine when i bought it (no idea what they were but they did say "supra" on them which i thought was strange but kinda cool) in the wet they were so bad i was convinced the car was set up for drifting....then i fitted F1s. Scoboblio
Another vote here for F1's, transformed the handling of the car when I fitted them all round
Ewen
I loved Toyo Proxes but they wore faster than the car accelerated....F1s now, so far so good
Elliot
I had Falkens all round when I bought the car. I foolishly replaced the fronts with Falkens to keep them all the same, but a few months later got F1s on the rear. The difference is unbelievable, hardly any wheelspin compared to before, and when it does they grip the road almost instantly. The cornering seems a hell of a lot better as well, but I'm not sure if that's me getting more confident with the car. Am looking forward to getting them on the front as well. Ewen
Was it 'Ecsta' or 'Kumho' brands that had tyres called 'Supra' ? Whatever they were, they were on my first MkIv and they made it squirm in the wet in a staight line at steady motorway speed....no-brainer advice to newbies with their first Supra - if it comes with weird named tyres, stump up the dosh and change them quick, especially now the roads are greasing up
