ardasaliah Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Hi- need some advice on getting a good finish on my callipers. I painted them with a brush- two coats. The problem is that brushing dose not always give the best finish. Can any recommend a way to smooth out the paint. Because the caliper isn't a perfect surface, I used Plasti kote silver hammered finish followed by Plasti kote bright red (smooth). They are really nice, the Plasti Kote red was much nicer than the Hammerite stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I would say you would get the best results taking them to a bodyshop and having them spray the calipers and laquer them.... Laquer makes a MASSIVE difference!
