I'm in contact with an LED company here in Austria and work on a solution as LEDs do not have the same light scattering as the standard bulbs. mwilkinson Posted October 5, 2018 Share Posted October 5, 2018 I did a test a few years back on a range of LED replacement bulbs and failed to find anything that gave an even light distribution. They all had hot spots of light which just looked terrible. I wish you luck in finding an LED replacement. I've bought OEM replacement bulbs for the whole interior of the car. There are a lot of them and as Barry says they are not cheap, but Toyota do still sell them. I'd be inclined to stick with the stock bulbs whilst they are available.
