Fuel Pump explanation

Hi guys,

 

I want to buy an AEROMOTIVE 340 Stealth Fuel Pump but now I'm confused.

 

There are 2 different types available for the Supra

 

1.) AEROMOTIVE 11141 340 Stealth Fuel Pump (Offset Inlet)

2.) AEROMOTIVE 11142 340 Stealth Fuel Pump (Offset Inlet, Inline)

 

in example the AEM High Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump is also (Offset Inlet, Inline)

 

What are the differences of this "Offset Inlet" and "Offset Inlet, Inline" and which one shall I take?

Without having checked I'm guessing the inline pump is an out of tank pump and the other sits in the tank. As to which one you go for, it will depend on the rest of your fuel system setup and power goals

Thanks for your reply but all 3 fuel pumps that I mentioned sit inside the tank like the original one

That last post of Rider's really does show the difference although I don't know how that affects the car and tuning.
