Boost not increasing after BPU install.

Hi everyone.

I've recently fitted a full BPU kit to my UK spec TT6 and I'm experiencing a problem with adjusting boost levels.

I've installed a Greddy Profec OLED using a guide found on mkivsupra.net forum. The controller seems to be working however I just can't seem to put the boost up. Adjusting the set value has no affect on the boost level. Boost is currently on 0.86 bar.

I've double checked my installation but it looks ok. I've tested the Greddy solenoid, by swapping with another working one and it's exactly the same.

I'm beginning to think that there might be something wrong with the car? Any help is greatly appreciated.

So, before install was it working fine? Do both turbos both kick in?

Thanks for the reply, now that you mention it the second turbo does feel like it comes online in closer to 5000 rpm rather than 4000 rpm. As for before the install I think it was fine, but to be honest with you I really didn't drive it much.

When I bought the car I had found that two of the wastegate vsv tampered with at some point in it's life. Both vsv were bypassed for some unknown reason, where both pipes that enter the solenoids we're joined together, ill upload some pictures showing this. During the BPU install I reconnected vsv towards the back of the engine to the original configuration and bypassed the one in front of the turbo to fit the boost controller.
