Icsea Posted September 11, 2018 Share Posted September 11, 2018 I've just put a set of jr10s on my car and at the very top of the rear arch it's just catching the wheels maybe like the size of a half circle too dark atm to take a pic. Just wanted to know if maybe the car had been lowered before I brought it and didn't know before I start looking at what to do. But also measure the height from the floor to the bottom of the wheel arch. Spunkmeyer Posted September 11, 2018 Share Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) Ok height isn’t the problem, mine are 19” and 65cm so you’ve got room there. It’s the 18ET that’s the issue. You could roll the arches but not usually first option. Josh42 Posted September 11, 2018 Share Posted September 11, 2018 I’ve run 9.5J ET30 rears with a 255/35/18 tyre for years. Decided to swap to a 265/35/18 rear tyre this year and started to get some scrubbing. Had the arch lips trimmed, lightly, by a body shop and it’s no longer an issue.
