What you SHOULD be asking is what TORQUE the `box will handle. Gearboxes are rated in torque handling capacity, sometimes at a certain input shaft RPM. It's torque that kills transmissions rather than power. I can't answer your question save to say that if you get a recommended figure for this box in stock form it's usually safe to say they will take about 30% more torque without catastrophically shortening their life, but heat build up will need addressing, and any increase in torqu will by definition = a reduction in life of the transmission.
