foggy147
Morning all, We have our big day coming up on the 19th October and we have just been let down by someone who was going to be our photographer for the day. He wasn't a professional just a hobbyist but as we are on such a tight budget we couldn't afford to pay for a pressional photographer as they seem to range over 1k. Could anyone recommend anyone around the Warrington area who doesn't cost the earth? Even if it was just for the main ceremony bit and then let friends and family take the rest for the evening. Cheers

jamesmark
Sorry to have to say this, if the £1k includes some sort of hard copies or album etc then £1k is an absolute bargain for a photographer. You might get one to come out and snap away for a few hundred then it is down to you to print them etc, but not many like to do that as printing the stuff is where they rip you off make their money. Annabella
The Mrs came up with an idea, what about a student at photography at a college, gather theres one at Warrington? Skint stude, low price willing to impress?
jamesmark
The Mrs came up with an idea, what about a student at photography at a college, gather theres one at Warrington? Skint stude, low price willing to impress? Good idea, but carries the risks associated with it. This is a one time deal, you can redo the wedding if the photo's are rubbish or poor job has been done. You can't get them back. Another idea to supplement the photographer, set up a share account where your guests can upload any and all photo's taken of your day. One idea to avoid, it never worked for us all that well. Disposable camera's, they were very poor quality.
Delboy52
My wife is a wedding photographer and has been doing it for many years. I'd recommend her http://www.natashathompson.co.uk/
