Year: 1997 Facelift: Yes - RZ-S Auto

 

Transmission: Automatic with manual mode and overdrive

 

Colour: Renaissance Red (3L2)

 

 

Mileage: approx. 111,500 miles (I have the BIMTA certificate from when it was converted)

 

MOT remaining: 09TH January 2019

 

 

Service history: All previous MOT’s since import, mileage changeover from km cert, bundle of receipts for work done.

This is my second supra which I purchased of a forum member back in early 2013. I am the 4th owner with the last two owners also being club members and to whom I reached out to before buying the car to get their views. They also kindly provided images of the vehicle during their ownership which I still hold and happy to share to show how the car has transformed during my ownership with the work carried out by the SRD team. During my ownership, the car has always been sent to SRD and that’s where the single turbo conversion as well as the many other big upgrades and yearly service were carried out as well.

 

 

This car has been loved, cared for and enjoyed, as some of you might already know from the Supra whatsapp group that I ordered my dream car today and hope to receive it in the coming month so unfortunately the Supra has to go. It has some really good parts on it and has been well looked after.

 

2 keys & 2 x alarm remotes- Thatcham approved CAT 1

 

 

Private Plate included in the sale if asking price met.

 

 

Last service was carried out in May 2018 with all oils and fluid changes including the gearbox oil as well as near side bearing. The underside was also fully cleaned and treated by Chris Calvert this year and the car is spotless underneath.

Bad bits:

One alloy has curb marks.

Driver’s seat bolsters needs attention.

Steering wheel could do with a refurbishment.

 

I have a big A4 folder that has all the previous MOT documents since the car has been in the UK. I have matched the papers docs to the online system and all tie back. Presumably if the transmission hasn't been changed and its running stock 2JZ internals the car is running well short of its 'capable 750HP'?

 

Yes bud a lot more power possible but it was enough for me. All it needs to go top end is cams and a good map by SRD.

Might be worth your while adding what it is running at and whether the frame, transmission and engine bushes remain OE, are were uprated to poly or all switched to solid as that'd have a big effect on handling and noise levels.
