2jzgte jdm problems with bpu

I recently made a bpu mod on my supra (2jzgte VVTi jdm spec 2000 m.y.). I installed hks fuel cut defender but without results (the car often sobbed, and still cut, as if the fcd did not work on this car). Is my car having some problems or does the fcd not work properly on this model?without looking for alternatives, I thought directly of a specific standalone. what do you recommend? I read (and like) about ecumaster .... but I have seen that many go with aem, link, proefi ...

keep in mind that maybe in 1 or 2 years I would like to opt for a single turbo and about 600hp.

the car has:

-fmic

-hks suction kit for vvti

-1 colder ngk spark plugs

-hks evc ez2 boost c.

-1st and 2nd downp. with 3 "catback

-hks ssqv no recirculating

the car already had the ssqv not recirculated ... I read that it can create problems on the vvti, but sincerely runs smoothly, does not stall or pulls while driving.

Thanks

Hks one and doesn' work....and no one can get me the right info for the right fcd for my engine spec. So i asked for a standalone ecu and tuning fine the engine

Theres different models of HKS ones though, I think you need a type II, or speak to Chris Wilson as per the thread above :)

Hi, hi boyght the hks 4501-RA002 std type as show on hks site, vompatible for vvti, but does not work. But thereisn't a big problem since i'll Think to go with a standalone and i am searching for more info as possible as request on first post ( many people said me that the fcd can't work properly on vvti jap spec )

If you consider a standalone, the Link G4+ Xtreme is a good choice. I have one and it can control E-Throttle, boost (you can even switch between sequential and parallel mode), traction control etc ...

You just have find a tuner who works with it ;)

But in the end, almost all actual standalone can manage every car in a very good way, just go with the one that you tuner prefer

Oh yes...the tuner is major "problem". There aren't many supra in italy and the tuners doesn' t have many experience on 2jz expecially on vvti. So the first thing is to find a good one that can work on the ecu first. And in italy the aem and ecumaster are the two most used in tuning. And the ecu master is the best bang for the buck. So i want ask on it, expecially who used/tuned/have it on 2jz gte vvti jdm one
