400BHP
This £1100 quid quote, what insurers was that with? I can get a quote on UK car for 800 but j-spec is 1500, i'm 25!
Andrew
You need to find an insurer that is ok with imports, most companies are put off by imports and give out silly quotes. Loads of discusions on this one, as you can imagine it's a common topic. I'm with Direct Line and they even know what an RZ is This may also sound odd, but when I was asking for quotes before I bought the car they were coming out with £1500-£2000. A 6-speed came up and I went for it, gave them the plate number and they quoted £750, same companies that were quoting the £2000. How that works I have no idea. I eventually got it down to £650 after a year, but modded and went back up to £780.

Soonto_HAS_soop
That quote was with Elephant.co.uk, but I have been with them for 1 year with a Cav GSi 2000, and I do have 6 years no claims bonus. They quoted me £1300 as a second car, offering me 5 years no claims bonus on a second car, just because I had already been with them for a year!! Not bad, they have got much better on quoting over the last 12 months though. Cheaper quotes for most of my family and mates, saved my pa £120 of the best quote he had got over the phone!! Should give em a try, but phone them, not over the net, as they can't quote imports over the net.
