Kendo11
Evening. I have a leak coming out of the steering rack on the drivers side, quite a bad leak as it's using most of the reservoir after just a short drive. It looks to be coming from a union on the rack as per the pictures. Can the union/bolt/washer/hoses be replaced individually without having to mess about with the rack? Mike2JZ
Yes. The banjo bolts can just be loosened off and removed if required. There are two copper washers per banjo bolt which can be replaced quite easily. The high pressure line side of the PS system is a little hard to replace as it uses specialized fittings, but the low pressure side is just rubber hoses rated for ATF fluid and basic hose clamps. Perfect thanks man. I'll go searching for the part numbers. The low pressure hose is just your basic rubber hosing?
