Supra374
I have to start off by saying it’s no easy task to do this swap properly I’ve got the tans tunnel drilled out and now out off the car. So on to getting the new tunnel in and sealed then would like to get the wiring sorted and I’ve read so much stuff I don’t know where I’m at. So anyone that has done this let me know please I’ve gotta manual ecu no81 which I believe I don’t have to do anything to no cutting or anything just plug and play. Does the speed sensor plug from the auto to the manual with no cutting What two wires do I need to plug into the plug coming out off the left side off the manual box And what is this wire I need to splice at the clutch pedal Any help would’ve great as I hope to doing all this wiring in the morning Thanks

DMY23
I did this swap myself in my garage recently, the wiring is actually very simple. Manual ECU will be plug and play, no wiring needed this end. For the speed sensor, the plug on the gearbox and on the auto loom are the same, so again this is just plug and play. You shouldn't need to do any wiring at the clutch pedal, but you will need to bypass the starter inhibiter in the auto loom (this prevents the engine starting unless the auto box is park), you do this by splicing two wires on the loom together. Find the large auto gearbox plug on the auto loom, there should be two black wires (one might be black and white iirc), you should be able to identify them on the plug as the pins on the plug for these two wires are raised a few mm compared to the other pins, these wires need to be cut and soldered together, this will bypass the starter inhibiter. The last part is wiring up the reverse lights, the wiring for this is again on the large auto gearbox plug on the loom (red and yellow wires iirc) these will need to be wired into the other connection on the manual gearbox (should only be two from memory, speed sensor and reverse sensor).
