Toyota announced yesterday that it will use the Supra name for the 2019 Nascar Xfinity Series!

The Xfinitiy series is Nascars's 2nd Tier, with the Camry as the top tier 'Cup' car.

It should have the standard TRD V8 powerplant used by all Toyotas in Nascar.

Personally i am not very pleased about this, as Nascars are all standard construction with a skin and decals to differentiate between the manufacturers (Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota), and the pictures of the Supra Nascar look hideous imo.

Also the Camaro and Mustang are much larger cars in real life, so to make the Supra fit the same template for he race cars is not really true to the road car at all.

This new Supra has been completely ba****dised, theres very little details for the mkiv to live on, but really the dimensions of the thing and wheel base look like a beefed up gt86. I personally dont want to see one. Ever.
