Branners
bit surprised by the 'all original cossie panels' bit, the Cossie wasnt based on an Escort, it was a sierra in disguise so the panels tend not to fit an Escort. Must have taken a lot of work to make them fit... JB
karl_fiesta
yea there all the metal panels came off a hot car a few yr ago i think the only down side is back axle sits back as you said its based on a sierra.

hadyn
You can always tell real escort cossies as they look wider than the copies like yours. I believe this is due to them being on sierra chasis, as stated above?

Whitesupraboy2
Lose the cosworth badge please. As its a pure replica, as in fro mwhat i can see everything is how its meant to be. I say keep the cosworth badge. just remember at the lights your not in a cosworth Nice car though mate
slick
Sorry IMO replicas are sad, so yes loose the badge as anyone with half a brain into cars can see its no 'Cosworth' and thats without hearing the 1400 engine
Branners
Serious! the escort cosworth was a sierra or am I just picking you up wrong (very possible ) yep its true, the Escort Cossie is run on the same floorpan as the sierra. Also due to the overall design if you ever see the passenger footwell theres bugger all foot space in it compared to a real Escrote. Ian R
Whats wrong with a cosworth badge. Its a replica. Bmw owners do it all the time
dangerous brain
Yup 318 M3 replica has to be the most common replica car on the planet lol. I'd be a bit dubious on having a cossie replica or no for no other reason than thievin gypsy gits enjoy knicking em and vandalising them. Mad Matt
Whats wrong with a cosworth badge. Its a replica. Bmw owners do it all the time Quite True! Ya see M3 badges on just about every single beamer! Whats that all about?? Even on door trims on the coupe models that look like they were factory fitted as opposed to owner fitted! Plus, as its a 'replica', isnt the idea to make it look as much like the real thing as poss?? Therefore, keep the Cossie Badge, or it'll just be an escort with a bodykit that looks a little like a cossie

Im not a great fan of Lookie Likies either..as ya say...I would be very embarresed if i had to disclose at every set of lights that it aint real..its like wearing a fake Rolex..or pretending that you are a millionaire to chat a gal up! But if ya like the car then keep it and (some of the gals wont know its not a real one..) Just get a Supra stop faffin about

Ewen
Nice step up from the Saxo, and as Reps go very nice...Cossie badge is an invitation for unwanted attention IMO, but then so's the whole car ! Better than a Ferrari badge on an MR2 Ferrari looky likey anyhoo....main question is WHEN ARE YOU GONNA GET A SUPRA ?

Pig
good on you mate. looks nice. Obviously you want a soop but naturally there not the most affordable thing. You can cruise and be quite happy looking like a cossie. Wouldnt try to race people though, that would look silly. I love a decent replica means younger people can insure what appears to be a better car. Enjoy it
